A great way to add capability to any kit, or lack thereof, is the USGI waist pack. It features a waist strap with quick release buckles that can be worn or slung, and allows access through a large, durable zippered front. The waist straps can also be stowed to allow the pack to be molle’d onto your kit as-well.
