This Fighting Load Carrier Vest has been a staple in the US Military, particularly the US Army, and continues to be a reliable foundation for various loadouts. It features ample MOLLE webbing on the front for attaching pouches and accessories, along with webbing on the padded waist belt. It easily accommodates a full combat load of magazines and gear. The vest is adjustable for standalone use or for fitting over body armor. Inside, behind the main MOLLE sections, there are sleeves/pockets for flat items such as maps and documents. These vests are designed to fit most sizes, with adjustments allowing for waist sizes from 28″ to 38″ and up to 55″. It’s worth noting that these vests ride slightly higher, positioning the waistline closer to the gut or navel area. They can be utilized as a “split front” rig, and worn as originally intended or modified to work as a more modern chest rig.
