This is the USMC FIBLE Assault Pack. A rough and tumble, bare bones, no nonsense piece of gear designed and produced for the Marine grunt. 25L provides ample room for Crayons, gummy bears and any other mission essential gear you need. But seriously, this is a very well thought out, produced and battle tested piece of equipment. Meant to be used in conjunction with the FILBE system that incorporates an entire infantrymen loadbearing set up. This includes the design function of being worn with or without body armor. 600D Cordura material for construction. The DX condition varies by ruck, but the indicator implies that there is some wear and tare. This typically manifests as holes in the back housing portion of the ruck were the hard plastic retaining frame is. Also typical is shoulder straps starting to fray and tear in joining to main pouch portion. Other small holes and abrasions may exist. Marines put their gear through the gauntlets and we salute them for it, we like to think of the DX’ed equipment as well loved but used hard and in need of some TLC. The proprietary Grey Squirrel Brown is the GS solution to the Coyote Brown shortfalls. The brown we have made these rucks is designed to be utilized and operate in the broader scope of North America. While Coyote Brown works very well in the environment it was intended for, we notice that the hues contain more of a stone and sand coloration, with reds and yellows creating the shade. We aim for our proprietary coloration to be used in the wooded environments found throughout much of our homeland. Reds and yellows have been replaced with grays and browns, giving hues that blend more with bark and understory. This creates a truer four season camouflage for a larger swath of our home turf.
